GROOVE STATION RADIO is a global, 24/7 non-profit station dedicated to electronic music. Created in Metlika, Slovenia out of a deep passion for club culture, it showcases authentically curated techno, house, and tech house while supporting artists and connecting the global community.

BEHIND GSR

Dorjan Berger developed a deep passion for electronic music at an early age during his time in Mainz, Germany. Upon returning to Bosnia and Herzegovina, he made his first contact with DJing in 1998 at a workshop run by UK DJs in Mostar’s Pavarotti Music Center. Learning the craft on vinyl, he joined the emerging local electronic music scene.

In 2007, as a cultural activist, he launched a milestone project backed by the Youth Cultural Center Abrašević, securing essential studio space and equipment for local talent. This led to a residency there (2008–2013), where he managed a compact DJ studio and organized numerous events both within the center and across various other locations. In 2013, he spent a transformative year in Berlin, connecting with fellow artists from diverse creative backgrounds and fully immersing himself in the city’s vibrant cultural scene.

Under his previous alias, he released official EPs on Sound Vessel Records (2014) and Crop Circle (2016). After moving to Slovenia, he returned to the studio with renewed energy, bringing years of experience directly into creating new tracks and launching Groove Station Radio.
