As one of the founding fathers of Slovenian techno, Valentino Kanzyani has been a key figure in the electronic scene since the mid 1990s. He initially built his reputation as a resident DJ at Ambasada Gavioli and gained international acclaim for his technical skill spinning on three turntables. Alongside Umek, he co-founded the legendary Recycled Loops imprint and moniker, cementing his status as a major player in Eastern Europe’s techno movement.
Over the years, Valentino shifted his sound toward underground house and minimalist rhythms while remaining deeply committed to vinyl culture. In 2005, he launched his label Jesus Loved You, followed by a series of acclaimed releases on Cadenza, including his debut artist album Love and Gratitude. Known for his flawless selection and true DJ integrity, Valentino continues to stand out as one of the most respected vinyl selectors on the global circuit.
